Terms of Service & Booking Policy

By booking a session online, visiting our website, or participating in an escape room experience with Reel Escape LLC, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Bookings, Payments, & Non-Refundable Policy

• Payment Processing: All online and on-site payments are securely authorized and processed through Square via our booking engine, Off The Couch.
• Final Sales: In accordance with Utah consumer disclosure guidelines, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for cancellations, reduced group sizes, or missed game times.
• Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule your booking up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled start time by contacting escapeteam@reelescape.org. Rescheduling within 24 hours of your game time is subject to availability and administrative rebooking fees.

2. Arrival & Punctuality Rules

Groups must arrive at our location (131 N Main Suite B, Richfield, UT 84701) 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game time for check-in, orientation, safety briefings, and waiver verification. Games will begin promptly. Late arrivals will have their available game time reduced accordingly to prevent delaying subsequent bookings.

3. Age Requirements & Minor Participation

• Participants under 18 years of age must have a digital liability waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian prior to room entry.
• Participants under 14 years of age must be accompanied inside the escape room by a paying adult participant at all times.

4. Code of Conduct & Property Damage

We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any participant who appears intoxicated, displays disruptive or unsafe behavior, or refuses to follow Game Master instructions. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

Property Damage: Escape room puzzles require logic and observational skills, not physical force. Reel Escape LLC reserves the right to charge the booking party's payment card via Square for any intentional damage caused to props, electronics, locks, or room infrastructure.

5. Liability Waivers & Utah State Law

All participants must complete and sign a digital liability waiver via Off The Couch before participating. Under Utah law (Hawkins v. Peart), minor liability waivers do not bar legal claims on behalf of injured children; therefore, strict adherence to room safety rules and active adult supervision is strictly required for all minor groups.

6. Photo & Video Release

Unless you inform our staff prior to your game, you grant Reel Escape LLC permission to take post-game group celebratory photos and use them for marketing, website, or social media purposes.
